SOUNDS OF NATURE LP (1998)-the Trd w/d prototype, Andy and Dan tookturns playing drums and balancing 4 track on each others heads. Made in Man is an Orange Animal studios, Minneapolis MN. 2. PRETTY TOTALLY LP (spring 2001) -only IPCP full length not yet onvinyl, recorded split 4/4 on 8 track 1/2" in 9th ward New Orleans, mics and instruments in "W" formation. Don joins the mix, corn punkmoves south, smellin loud and proud. Toured southwest with County Z,cooked with sticks and lighter in earthen holes, mostly. 3. GET OBVIOUS LP (winter 2001)-realigned with Stella on guitar,recorded at Banks St, New Orleans on 1" 16 track, bouncin trash offthe linoleum, the ghost made us look. First a cassette on Trd W/D,then one side of a split LP w/ Nuclear Family on Friends andRelatives. Toured southeast with County Z, everybody cooked for us,we bought beer. 4. TRASHED IS GOOD LP (summer 2002)- aka "the Plunger Album" Shortsongs. Thick tape. (almost) No improv. Back to a three piece, haphazard punk harvested again at Banks Street, New Orleans, assistedby a wide-eyed sweating Fontaine. Tour southeast, northeast, midwestin converted toaster, implode, re-emerge with... 5. POVERTY IS VIOLENCE/ADOPT A MINDFIELD LP -(fall/winter 2003) Winterdescends on Minneapolis. 1/2" 8 track, Nagra IV-S 1/4" 2tk mix, tube reverb, lotsa toys. Due to mechanical failure, upgrades to drummachine. Recorded at Malas by Ryan Fontaine, mixed in Rozina's barn. Harrowing sonic forray into tension and scrapbook memories. 6. TO BE TREATED LP (spring 2005) -Joel Jackson picks up the guitar.Don becomes a robot. Unfazed, Andy bites his lip and Dan twitchesmaniacally. All in harmony with machines and architecture. Aftersoutheast tour with Dreamhouse and Kites, recorded by Ben Mumpherey to 24 track 2" tape thru a pile of preamps at Truck Farm in New Orleans. Mixed to 1/2" thru a Neve in Bogalusa. Plate reverb curtains, the lone computer broken.
